The Weavers’ Company encourages excellence in all spheres of the United Kingdom’s woven textile industry, identifying, by supporting and nurturing exceptional students training for the industry as well as young talent already working within it. We support centres of excellence in textile education, while recognising and working with those who have made the most significant contributions to the textile industry.

Our Charitable work focuses on the rehabilitation of offenders, particularly young offenders, both in prison and after release and helping young people at risk of criminal involvement to stay out of trouble
Our WorkBy setting up motivational relationships with a Mentor on both sides of the prison gate, Switchback helps young men to find a way out of the justice system and build a stable, rewarding life they can be proud of.
The Weavers’ Company was one of Switchback’s first funders, helping them to get started in 2009. Today the Weavers’ are helping Switchback to get their real-life experience course accepted as part of the syllabus with the prison service and probationary practitioners.
SwitchbackThe Company supports three inner city London Primary Schools which are located in Lambeth, Southwark and Tower Hamlets.
