The Footprints project support prisoners returning to Hampshire and Dorset with volunteer led mentoring, practical support and skills to help them integrate successfully into society and lead a purposeful life, building safer communities for all. Support from the Weavers has helped them develop a wood workshop for ex-prisoners residing at an Approved Premises. The residents gain skills in woodwork, self-esteem and benefit from pro-social relationships. Items made are sold on their website at the local Christmas craft market giving residents additional opportunities to gain skills in customer service as well as to showcase their creations.
